Delivery & Assembly Technician
🚚 Delivery & Assembly Technician – Medical Equipment (Whitby, ON)
TLC Home Mobility is seeking a dependable Delivery & Assembly Technician to deliver and set up mobility equipment—including hospital beds, wheelchairs, and lift chairs—throughout Durham Region and the GTA.
Responsibilities
- Deliver orders to clients, following any special delivery instructions
- Complete delivery logs and required paperwork accurately
- Assemble and install equipment in clients’ homes
- Provide clear instructions on safe use of equipment
- Perform basic warehouse tasks: shipping, receiving, stocking
- Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance of vehicle
- Present a professional image (uniform and name badge provided)
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Handle other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Own a truck or van
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools (an asset)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Available for occasional on-call service after hours
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Previous delivery or healthcare industry experience an asset
- High school diploma
What We Offer
- Part-time: minimum 15 hrs/week (3 days/week)
- $20/hr + $0.40/km reimbursement
- Paid training on equipment handling and assembly
